Loewe recently released its 2021 Spring/Summer women’s collection online, with the theme of “Show-on-the-Wall” echoing the display format of the 2021 men’s collection “Show-in-the-box.” Jonathan Anderson, M/M (Paris), and British artist Anthea Hamilton collaborated on the concept of “Show-on-the-Wall,” using 16 life-size posters to showcase the new pieces. Jonathan Anderson reshapes Loewe’s classic iconic bags in this collection, starting with the Puzzle Bag. This bag, which has always been loved by elegant women, is embroidered with a large number of sequins in this series, transforming into a glamorous and exaggerated style. The combination of dark green and pure black is full of mystery, giving it a completely different feeling from before.
As for Jonathan Anderson, after taking over as Creative Director of Loewe, the innovative Flamenco Bag immediately incorporated new elements. In addition to retaining the original knotting strap design details and the soft yet structured silhouette, it also integrated pleating details and used velvet material instead of leather, adding a sense of lines and a different texture to the overall look, making it an elegant and modern choice.
And recently, the Balloon Bag, which is deeply loved by fashion icons like Jennie, has added a deconstructed design, with a combination of linen and two-tone python leather that is unique and can easily add a highlight to a simple outfit.
