Punk meets street style! Skateboarding brand PALACE collaborates with Vivienne Westwood for the first time, bringing back classic elements from the 90s.

British brand Vivienne Westwood, known for its punk, rebellious, and avant-garde style, surprises with its first collaboration with the UK skateboard brand PALACE. The joint collection combines classic elements, culture, and humor from both sides as its design core, marking PALACE’s first inclusion of women’s wear in a collaboration series!

The collaborative series combines punk and street styles, where the iconic triangle logo of PALACE collides with Vivienne Westwood’s trademark Saturn pattern, becoming a key design element. Many pieces, such as denim suits, mini skirts, and flight suit sets, showcase the fusion of brand logo mania and PALACE branding. Traditional and classic elements merge with activewear and technical fabrics, with Vivienne Westwood’s “Salon” print from the 1992 Spring/Summer collection making its debut, featuring on Gore-Tex hooded jackets, track pants, and skirts in this collaborative series.

Additionally, there are cotton corset tank tops, leopard print knitted zip-up hoodies, and casual pants.

When it comes to accessories, the most attention-grabbing item is undoubtedly the oversized teddy bear bag inspired by Vivienne Westwood’s iconic elements from the early 1990s. There are also smaller versions of teddy bear charms, hats with the famous Horns design, trucker hats, and checkered Gore-Tex berets, as well as printed long socks, Saturn necklaces, studded small leather goods, and skateboards.

To emphasize the disruptive spirit of the two brands, the advertising for this collaboration series was specially photographed by Shoichi Aoki, the founder of the Japanese street style magazine “FRUiTS,” in a unique street style to showcase the spirit of both brands. The promotional photos will be included in a limited edition magazine, available for free with the purchase of this series at the specialty stores.
