In recent years, the French professional outdoor brand Salomon, which is deeply loved by fashionistas from all over the world, has once again collaborated with MM6 Maison Margiela to present these XT-4 Mules from a non-traditional perspective on functional footwear, bringing functionality, style, and function all in one for this spring and summer!
These XT-4 Mules made their debut at the MM6 Maison Margiela Spring/Summer 2024 show, attracting attention and anticipation from fashion enthusiasts. MM6 Maison Margiela, with its bold design perspective, has reshaped Salomon’s classic trail running shoes into mules suitable for streetwear, retaining the original technology designed for off-road sports, including the full-length Agile Chassis Skeleton outsole, dual-density EVA cushioning design, and the iconic Quicklace lacing system.

This collaboration new XT-4 Mules offers three color combinations, including a minimalist all-black color, paired with subtle brick pattern design to enhance the texture of the shoe upper; eye-catching gradient blue, purple, and fluorescent yellow accents on white styles; and a faded effect, paired with a sky blue shoe edge.
In addition, the MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon series also brings the classic X-Alp hiking shoes redesigned by the MM6 design studio, combining stylish aerodynamic contours with Salomon’s 3D Edging patented technology outsole designed for mountain sports, increasing the lateral stability and structural feel of the shoes. The shoe body is made of mesh canvas material, while the toe is covered with suede. Two color options, including a low-key stylish all-black, as well as a contrasting design of white, cream, and black. The tongue cleverly incorporates the MM6 Maison Margiela numeric logo, complementing Salomon’s logo design.
