Louis Vuitton Savoir Rêver 2024: Infusing craftsmanship and innovative aesthetics into the art of living

Founded in 1854 as a manufacturer of luggage, Louis Vuitton, with a 170-year history of craftsmanship, has expanded into clothing, jewelry, and integrated into the art of living. Recently, the brand held the Savoir Rêver 2024 event at the Harbour House in the luxurious Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong, showcasing a variety of exquisite products against the backdrop of the enchanting Victoria Harbour, creating a journey of craftsmanship and dreaming.

On the night of the event, it brought together fashion celebrities from the city, including Linda Chung, Alfred Hui, Koni Lui, Venus Wong, Zoie Tam, Brian Tse, Kayan Ng, Karl Ting, Julian Chu, Hugo Wong, and Vincent Wong, who were the first to appreciate the brand’s unparalleled craftsmanship and praise the brand’s unique lifestyle art.

This event unfolds with the classic Malletage pattern by Louis Vuitton as the backdrop. The first area, “Women’s Boudoir,” showcases a world where tradition and innovation merge seamlessly. Highlights include the Icones Flight Mode collection for Fall/Winter 2024, the Courrier Lozine 110 and Malle Pyramide with vintage travel stickers, the Cabinet of Curiosities created by internationally renowned Australian designer Marc Newson, featuring leather cubes that can be freely combined for both practicality and style. The Malle Coiffeuse with a pink interior epitomizes everyday luxury. This area also features a selection of exquisite Objets Nomades pieces, including the Bomboca sofa by Fernando & Humberto Campana and the captivating Flower Tower designed by Atelier Biagetti, inspired by the iconic Monogram.

The next area “Hong Kong by Day” showcases the Binda sofa and Binda armchair designed by the renowned London designer Raw Edges, inspired by the unique stitching of tennis, perfectly combining visual aesthetics with comfort. The long-standing Malle Lit reinterprets the classic Bed-Trunk designed in 1865, blending tradition with modernity. The limited edition Aguacate series designed by the Campana Brothers combines nine colorful elements of different sizes, adding vitality to the space and showcasing the dynamism of the city.


In tribute to the Exotic handbag series, the venue showcased a variety of masterpieces crafted from precious materials and cutting-edge techniques, including the Blossom Pouch – a small handbag from the Blossom jewelry series that combines exquisite jewelry with exotic charm, adorned with iconic diamond metal tags and gold-plated chains. A series of rare handbags using innovative holographic color technology bring delicate pale pink and elegant gray designs, each with subtle stripe patterns and holographic effects under different lights and angles. The Jewel capsule, inspired by precious gemstones, features elegant and timeless colors that highlight the elegant aesthetic of tradition. In addition, there is the exclusive Purple Opal Exotic embellished handbag series available only at Hong Kong’s Savoir Rêver. The men’s Exotic handbag series also introduces special colors and themes such as Copper, Sunflower, and Lagoon.

“Hong Kong by Night” brings guests to a dazzling evening. The LV Dart Trunk designed by Pharrell Williams offers a fun and fresh interpretation of traditional games. The Party Trunk embodies the spirit of the brand’s iconic luggage, showcasing a colorful acrylic panel, a mirror in the lid, and a disco ball, creating a fresh and modern atmosphere. The artistic Mirror Bomboca chair and Disco Cocoon chair highlight the brand’s aesthetic of blending art and functional design. The venue also features customizable Billard pool tables, reflecting the expertise in crafting luggage with leather corners, and the brand’s attention to detail is evident in the hand-painted Monogram floral patterns on each pool table and the intricate carved designs on the rivets.

The Savoir Rêver event showcased Louis Vuitton’s exquisite craftsmanship and extraordinary creativity in the field of luxury watchmaking, with a series of high-end craft watches displayed in luggage cases adorned with Monogram Eclipse canvas and in the Malle Horlogere luggage case. In addition, various high-end jewelry collections were also exhibited and complemented by the Malle Haute Joaillerie jewelry luggage case, which is the first luggage case equipped with a lighting system to showcase high-end jewelry pieces.
