The advertising campaign, conceived by creative director Sabato De Sarno and shot by Anthony Seklaoui, embodies a carefree spirit of enjoying life to the fullest. The Gucci Lido collection includes a variety of pieces, from swimwear to resort wear, designed to be both luxurious and comfortable. The focus of the campaign is a range of newly interpreted classic handbags; the familiar Gucci Jackie and GG Marmont are updated with raffia weaving or canvas, reflecting a casual aesthetic for the summer. Colorful GG canvas accessories like Gucci Luce and Moon Side handbags add a playful touch to the collection, while fluorescent details inject creativity into the classic elements of the accessories.
A series of limited-time pop-up stores will be landing in global vacation destinations, embodying the essence of Gucci Lido. Porto Cervo, Capri, The Hamptons, and Saint-Tropez will all serve as ideal stages, showcasing the collection’s lively spirit, allowing travelers to immerse themselves in the world of Gucci Lido and personally experience the luxury fashion that the brand represents. Additionally, Gucci will be hosting private events at the luxurious seaside Hotel Il Pellicano in Tuscany, allowing guests to enjoy an Italian holiday and bask in the beautiful Mediterranean scenery.
