This collaboration project will fully integrate the French brands Repetto and Jacquemus. The collaborative shoe design is based on Repetto’s classic Zizi Oxford shoes, which date back to the 1970s. Brand founder Rose Repetto drew inspiration from jazz shoes, leading to the creation of the classic series “The Richelieu Zizi.” In the 70s, this shoe was discovered by the iconic French singer Jane Birkin’s husband, Serge Gainsbourg, and became his favorite daily wear, making it one of Repetto’s iconic pieces.
The collaborative shoe model of Jacquemus x Repetto reshapes the classic Zizi oxford shoe silhouette, combining the iconic elements of the two brands. Repetto represents elegance and comfort, combined with Jacquemus’ newly designed square toe and round heel, breaking the classic Zizi oxford shoe silhouette.
