Although collaborations are not new in the fashion industry, the new sparks that arise every time two parties come together are always exciting. In search of workwear creativity, sacai has teamed up with workwear pioneer Carhartt WIP to create the sacai workwear collection based on Carhartt’s original workwear.
The sacai x Carhartt WIP collaboration collection made its debut at the sacai 2023 Autumn/Winter fashion show, drawing inspiration from the iconic workwear in the movie “Interstellar”.

The collaboration series combines Carhartt WIP’s duck canvas outerwear with sacai’s iconic nylon twill fabric, as well as brand signature elements including knitting techniques, to create a workwear style that is more suitable for everyday wear. In terms of design, it utilizes layering and bold colors to seamlessly integrate the two brands in a deconstructive yet cohesive manner, serving as the ultimate expression of practicality.
The sacai x Carhartt WIP collaboration series will be launched on September 8th, and the pop-up store will be held at BELOWGROUND in Landmark Central, Hong Kong on September 7th. The exclusive T-shirts will be available for sale at sacai stores and the official sacai online boutique. Interested friends should take note of the release information!
