British designer Clare Waight Keller, who previously served as creative director for Chloé and Givenchy, will collaborate with UNIQLO for the first time to launch a new women’s collection, UNIQLO: C, redefining LifeWear with a casual and elegant style.
UNIQLO announced that on September 15th, it will launch a new women’s autumn/winter collection in collaboration with British designer Clare Waight Keller. The series, UNIQLO: C, reflects different elements including curiosity, conversation, city, clarity, connection, creativity, and the designer’s name, Clare.

Clare Waight Keller, who was born in the UK, has worked as a designer at Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, and Gucci. In 2011, she joined Chloé as the artistic director and moved to Paris. In 2017, Clare had a new development and was appointed as the artistic director for Givenchy’s haute couture and men’s and women’s clothing. She not only took over Riccardo Tisci’s position but also became the first female artistic director of the brand. During her tenure, Clare not only brought back Haute Couture to Givenchy but also personally designed Meghan Markle’s wedding dress, attracting global attention.
Clare Waight Keller appreciates the understated, minimalist, and perfectly detailed Japanese aesthetics. This time, she injects her rich experience and her deep appreciation for the design style of modern women into the new UNIQLO collection: C, bringing perfect comfort and functionality to modern life.
