Recently, Levi’s collaborated with Studio Ghibli to blend the brand’s classic style with the enchanting aesthetics of “Princess Mononoke,” creating a collection of fashion items that are poetic and artistic. This collaboration pays tribute to the magical charm of this masterpiece and its message of coexistence with nature.
“Princess Mononoke” explores the dual nature of human beings and nature from subtle and diverse perspectives. The Levi’s x Princess Mononoke collaboration collection takes inspiration from the film’s scenery and fantastical characters, seamlessly incorporating the intricate and beautiful hand-drawn images of forests, rivers, and animals into the designs.

Among the most eye-catching pieces are the San & Wolf denim jacket, Ashitaka 501 ’93 jeans, and San & Moro 501 denim shorts, which perfectly incorporate the forest and sunlight imagery from the film into a sky-blue denim fabric. The Nightwalker denim kimono and Kodama denim jumpsuit, on the other hand, bring the forest gods and tree spirits to life on Levi’s deep indigo fabric, inspired by the dark night environment where the characters reside. In addition to clothing, the collaboration series also includes a range of accessories, such as the classic American Western Levi’s bandana, fisherman hat, tote bag, and loose leaf bag, all of which bring a unique style and narrative, vividly showcasing the lush green environment and the energy of the unique characters in every detail.
