The live-action film “Barbie” was officially released last week and has already surpassed $300 million in global box office sales in its first week, sparking a wave of pink frenzy!
Movies and fashion have always been closely intertwined, and the styling in the movie “Barbie” is also a focal point. Chanel, which has collaborated with many famous movies over the years, has specially created multiple sets of costumes for Margot Robbie’s portrayal of Barbie, as well as a skiing outfit for Ryan Gosling’s portrayal of Ken, making the movie even more exciting!

Margot Robbie said in an interview in June of this year: “In the movie ‘Barbie’, the audience will see a lot of Chanel clothing, because Barbie loves Chanel the most! My character has multiple sets of Chanel outfits! The costumes are very particular about accessories, hats, bows, earrings, and jewelry are all essential, and the necklaces and earrings are all statement pieces. Wearing a hat is not just for sun protection, the hat itself is also one of the accessories, and there is a complete set of handbags and shoes, it’s really a lot of fun.”
Chanel has provided a variety of different shades of pink clothing for the film, specially selected by Oscar-winning costume designer and brand friend Jacqueline Durran. The five outfits featured in the film were all designed by Creative Director Virginie Viard, including three suits, a ski suit, and a jumpsuit, from the fashion collection, Coco Beach, and Coco Neige series. In addition, there are several diamond-patterned handbags, including one heart-shaped design that has captured the hearts of many fashion enthusiasts. Other accessories include Coco Neige sunglasses, iridescent bracelets, fashionable jewelry, and hats made by Maison Michel, all of which perfectly complement Barbie’s character and enhance the storyline.
