Laid-back vacation vibes! Chloé × ERES launches an exclusive collection, each minimalist and delicate swimsuit is irresistible.

As we step into the scorching summer days, whether you’re planning a vacation trip to a small island or just heading to the beach to soak up the sun and have fun in the water, you’ll need a stunning swimsuit! Chloé, always exuding a sense of beauty and romance, has teamed up with the French luxury swimwear brand ERES this summer to present an exclusive collection, bringing a range of fashionable beachwear, from swimsuits to ready-to-wear clothing, woven bags, sandals, sunglasses, and hats. Each item is so beautiful that you can’t help but want to put it on immediately and dive into the embrace of summer.

This Chloé x ERES swimwear collection embodies Chloé’s unique feminine style through its distinctive cuts and material choices. The Philippine swimsuit and Polynesia Palau bikini feature ruffled edges on the shoulders and are adorned with botanical pattern embroidery. ERES has transformed the iconic “C” logo from classic Chloé handbags into unique metal details, creating a sun-like scattering of pleats on the waist of the Panama swimsuit and connecting the two cups of the Papeete Paraguay bikini top. To demonstrate Chloé’s commitment to improving environmental and social impact, this collection is made with the innovative Peau Douce material developed by ERES. This second-skin-like fabric offers elasticity, durability, comfort, and the ability to enhance body contours.

  • The natural color palette of the swimwear collection is inspired by the Mediterranean, including three captivating shades: “Summer Night” blue, “Iconic Milk” off-white, and “Red Ochre” reddish-brown. These colors create a pleasing contrast with the classic black and brown. Additionally, ERES Creative Director Marie-Paule Minchelli and Chloé Creative Director Gabriela Hearst often use the “Dark Honey” deep honey color in their respective collections.

In terms of accessories, the Palma handbag features a leather handle, a detachable makeup bag, and a “C” metal decoration, with the joint brand logo of Chloé and ERES printed on the inside. This handbag is created in collaboration between Chloé and the Kenyan social enterprise Mifuko, which has been working together for several seasons. “Mifuko” means “pocket” in Swahili, and through providing fair wages and assisting artisans in reducing their reliance on highly variable agriculture as a source of income, it enables Kenyan artisans to become self-sufficient and ensure that everyone has enough to eat. As for the leather used in the Paz embroidered sandals and Paula sunglasses frames, it comes from tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group. The Piia hat, on the other hand, is made from recycled organic cotton canvas.
