  • This May, H&M will collaborate with Mugler to bring a joint collection. This collaboration perfectly embodies Mugler’s DNA, as expressed by Casey Cadwallader, Mugler’s Creative Director: “This collection is a milestone for Mugler – it gives us the opportunity to celebrate our history and pay tribute to the works we love. This collaboration includes many of our iconic pieces, from body-hugging jumpsuits and dresses to suits, denim items, and bold and beautiful jewelry accessories.”

Mugler was founded in 1973 by French designer Manfred Thierry Mugler, known for its bold and innovative style. American designer Casey Cadwallader joined the brand in 2018 and under his leadership, the brand has been revitalized, seamlessly blending a sexy attitude and high fashion with contemporary spirit. It has also become a go-to brand for many Hollywood celebrities, including Dua Lipa, Megan Fox, Kim Kardashian, Bella Hadid, and Kylie Jenner. Recently, Carina Lau, who just won Best Actress at the Hong Kong Film Awards, was the first to wear the H&M X Mugler collaboration during her acceptance speech.

This series adopts Mugler’s most iconic silhouette, with oversized shoulders, a slim waistline, and sexy transparency. It also features the brand’s unique spiral-shaped multiple stitching details, including a black velvet dress with puff sleeves, a lace bodycon dress, a suit set with perforated details, and a fluorescent green blazer. The vintage pieces in the collection pay tribute to Thierry Mugler’s greatest works from the 80s and 90s, embodying the founder’s tradition. For menswear, there is a range of leather pants, blazers, and coats with the brand’s engraved buttons. Accessories are also a highlight of this collection, including fishnet gloves and leggings, oversized shoulder bags, and scarves. Silver and gold body chains, as well as star-shaped and teardrop-shaped earrings and necklaces, are also iconic and popular designs from Mugler.

The brand’s previously released styling photos were shot by Lengua, with Haley Wollens as the stylist. Many fashion idols and celebrities from the music industry interpreted this collaboration series, including supermodels Sora Choi, Imaan Hammam, Mariacarla Boscon, and others.

To celebrate the highly anticipated collaboration between H&M and Mugler, a grand celebration event was recently held on Park Avenue in Manhattan, New York. The event seamlessly blended entertainment, music, performances, and fashion, showcasing various cultures. Many celebrities attended the event, including renowned actress Pamela Anderson, British pop star Charli XCX, fashion icon Chloë Sevigny, and Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon, who were among the first to showcase the collection. Molly, the hottest fashion influencer in Hong Kong and Taiwan, made a stunning appearance at the event in a sheer mesh outfit adorned with star-shaped diamonds and paired with a sexy mini skirt. The atmosphere was truly magnificent.
