Jeremy Scott announced on his personal social media platform yesterday, March 20th, that he is leaving the brand Moschino after working there for 10 years!
Jeremy Scott officially took over as Creative Director of Moschino in October 2013. Two months later, he launched his first Autumn/Winter collection, boldly themed around “McDonald’s,” which sparked a heated discussion. Since then, he has brought imaginative and creative designs every season, incorporating elements such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Barbie, paper dolls, graffiti, car wash services, and swimwear. These common elements in life have all been transformed into unexpected surprises. He has also designed crystal chandelier outfits and hamburger dresses for Katy Perry, perfume bottles shaped like cleaning products, as well as the iconic cute Teddy Bear and Biker Bag that have become the brand’s signature. His humorous designs have left a lasting impression. His latest Autumn/Winter collection, unveiled at Milan Fashion Week last month, marks his final work for Moschino.
