CHARLES & KEITH, known for its affordable prices and high cost performance, recently collaborated with Spanish artist Coco Capitán to launch a limited edition collection.
Artist Coco Capitán is known for combining poetic prose with artistic brushstrokes, having collaborated with brands such as Gucci, Miu Miu, Maison Martin Margiela, Mulberry in the past. This collaboration series with Coco Capitán takes inspiration from the childhood divination game “He loves me, he loves me not,” blending playful handwriting with innocent daisies, injecting her strong personal style into the collection.
The collection includes Perline thick-soled loafers with hand-written phrases by Capitán saying “Loves Me Blue, Love Me Blue Not” on the side; another small floral embroidered handbag is embroidered with her unique prose of hope, telling the story of a lonely blue flower blooming in concrete. Behind Capitán’s words lies the message: “My artistic inspiration comes from overheard conversations, diaries, and occasional moments of reflection. I believe words can transcend culture, bringing a glimmer of hope into a brighter era.”
