Last September, Fendi and Versace announced their first collaboration and unveiled the stunning “Fendace” hybrid collection at Milan Fashion Week, blending the symbols and elements of the two major brands together. Kim Jones and Sylvia Venturini Fendi interpreted Versace through their eyes; Donatella Versace added a new luxurious style to Fendi.
Long-awaited, this highly anticipated collaboration has finally launched. What are the key designs included?
The “Fendace” logo series combines the names of both parties, with the front “FEND” derived from Fendi’s original font, and the following “ACE” derived from Versace. The subtle design differences between the fonts make it highly recognizable and collectible.
The styling design embodies the common concept of the series, blending the exaggerated and gorgeous aesthetics of “Very Versace” with the exquisite craftsmanship of Fendi. The clothing design features eye-catching unconventional prints and colors, which are very appealing; accessories and jewelry with inlaid gemstones also combine the brand elements of Fendi and Versace, dazzling and glamorous.
In terms of bags, Fendi’s two classic bags, Peekaboo and Baguette, are adorned with Versace’s gold-plated Baroque print, presenting a luxury style never seen before in the brand.
Versace’s classic handbag La Medusa combines the Fendi FF logo and the Versace Medusa pattern, clearly conveying the core values of the collection – creating eye-catching and unique designs while respecting the brand personalities of both parties.
