Burberry 2022 Spring/Summer Collection: Deconstructing the classic Trench Coat, challenging the limits of sexiness.

by

This season, Burberry did not participate in the London Fashion Week schedule as usual, but instead chose to release the 2022 Spring/Summer women’s collection online after the end of Milan Fashion Week.

Burberry’s Chief Creative Officer Riccardo Tisci takes on the theme of “Animal Instinct,” having models wear animal ears to express the innate animal instincts in humans.

At the beginning, digital models put on the brand’s Trench Coat to kick off the show, their iconic windbreakers deconstructed and reassembled by Riccardo Tisci, such as exaggerated lapels, metal chain decorations, etc.

Featuring a design with a longer front and a shorter back, showcasing swimsuits with abstract floral patterns, blending elegance with effortless sexiness, highlighting the different facets of modern women.

This season, Riccardo Tisci continues to break free from the old framework, shedding the seriousness of traditional British tailoring, adding hollow designs to close-fitting garments made of stretch fabrics, and even boldly hollowing out the thighs on tight pants, creating a strong visual impact and redefining sensuality for Burberry.
