A prolonged epidemic has changed many people’s attitudes towards life, prompting a reflection on the importance of clothing. People are now pursuing fewer but higher quality clothes. On the other hand, with a decrease in social activities, consumers also tend to buy comfortable clothing. Uniqlo, closely aligned with the market, has taken “Moving Forward to the Future” as the concept for its Uniqlo U 2021 Fall/Winter collection.
The series is designed by the brand’s artistic director Christophe Lemaire and his team of designers from the Paris Product Research and Design Center, reimagining the appearance of everyday wear, designing fashion items that are suitable for the present and have a futuristic feel.
The women’s collection focuses on combining simple aesthetics with elegant designs, from the smooth round-neck knit sweater to the delicate denim shirt-style jacket, with a soft touch and versatile design, easily creating layered outfits.
The inspiration for the men’s collection comes from classic styles, featuring clean and loose cuts, including A-line mid-length single-breasted coats suitable for work and easy-to-care-for corduroy work jackets.
The new Uniqlo U 2021 autumn/winter collection includes 35 women’s items, 29 men’s items, and 15 children’s items. It will be available for purchase at the Lee Theatre flagship store starting from September 17th.
