Theory 2021 Fall Women’s Collection: Fashion Styling Proposals for the Post-Pandemic Era

In the post-pandemic era, many brands have begun to focus on comfortable and functional designs in fashion, such as the recent release of the autumn women’s collection by Theory, allowing women to elegantly and lightly dress for the office, or find a sense of work ritual during Work from home.

The design focus of Theory’s Fall 2021 women’s collection is on fabrics such as double-sided Walden herringbone, two-tone double-sided knit, smooth lambskin, and mixed-color knit. Based on earth tones, complemented by Olympic blue, rose red, and mint green to add a bright feeling, creating a comfortable and easy-to-match style that is both elegant and fashionable.

To enhance the flexibility of dressing, Theory’s new season designs also incorporate Trompe l’oeil techniques, turning the lapels of a waistcoat into a hat, as well as designing a pleated chiffon tie dress into a waistcoat. The knitted wool jacket is adorned with wrinkled effects and check patterns, adding more fashionable details and bringing comfortable and stylish looks that can be paired with different occasions in daily life.

A series of women’s styles are not lacking in functionality, with some designs using high-performance fabrics traditionally found in men’s clothing, such as machine-washable nylon for parkas. Jumpsuits, zip-up jackets, stitched skinny pants, and cup-style tops are made with Precision Ponte, a breathable knit fabric that not only resists wrinkles but also has SPF 50 UV filtering properties.

Green fashion has become a trend in recent years, and Theory has also joined the ranks of sustainable fashion. The autumn women’s collection features printed silk chiffon fabrics with the Oeko-Tex® Made in Green label, indicating that the production process does not contain harmful chemicals. In addition, the collection’s wool twill houndstooth is woven from 100% recycled wool, and the Reagan Knit is made from ECONYL® recycled nylon, echoing the environmental concept.
