TOGA ARCHIVES x H&M joint series will debut in September! Printed silk scarf jacket, hollowed-out tailored top and other popular items are first revealed!

Do you still remember the blockbuster news of the collaboration between H&M and Tokyo’s stylish brand TOGA ARCHIVES announced last month? Fashion enthusiasts have been eagerly anticipating it, and the brand recently released the latest advertising campaign for this collaboration series, revealing more avant-garde and stylish designs!

The styling design in the TOGA ARCHIVES x H&M collaborative series advertisement is handled by Jane How, and shot by Johnny Dufort, using the rugged architectural style of London’s Barbican Estate as a fashion backdrop to interpret the fashion designs of TOGA ARCHIVES founder and creative director Yasuko Furuta. Drawing inspiration from the classic works of TOGA ARCHIVES, the series of clothing designs focus on exquisite and neat tailoring, vibrant and lively styles, and incorporate many modern elements.

In the women’s wear items in the collaborative series, you can find a woolen twill patchwork windbreaker, a striped shirt with a one-shoulder design, a gray outline casual jacket with pearl decorations on the chest, a navy blue beaded dress, and a bright floral black chiffon skirt, among others. In addition to the patchwork style that Tazuko Furuichi is best at, the design also reveals some cut-out designs that expose the skin, or incorporates scarf fabrics into items such as trousers and shawls, bringing out a playful and rebellious style. Paired with high-heeled shoes with denim thick heels and rivets, pearl earrings, and necklaces, the fashion look becomes more eye-catching.

The advertising campaign also revealed the men’s styles of the TOGA ARCHIVES x H&M collaboration series, featuring cleverly tailored pieces in vibrant colors. Highlights include a blue striped shirt, a transparent V-neck knit sweater, and a reversible pilot jacket with a vintage printed scarf element, echoing a diverse design concept with a mix-and-match style.
