UNIQLO and alexanderwang are teaming up again to bring us the 2019 spring/summer collaboration series, combining UNIQLO’s signature product AIRism with alexanderwang’s fashion design to create innovative and avant-garde LifeWear.
The women’s section of the AIRism collaborative series uses lightweight and highly functional AIRism materials, which are smooth and soft to the touch, feeling like a “second layer of skin.” When worn, you won’t feel the usual constraints of wearing underwear, providing you with the most comfortable experience.
The whole series embodies Alexander Wang’s advocated minimalist style, incorporating classic black, white, gray, and soft pink, along with simple and neat line designs, allowing you to “wear underwear as outerwear”, not only can be used as regular underwear, but also can become your daily fashion outfit. In this era where luxury fashion is widely followed, this minimalist style appears even more timeless, and will not go out of style due to changing times.
As for the men’s section, it has adopted innovative technology using premium cotton and inner layer of AIRism for the first time, making it more comfortable and breathable to wear in the summer.
A series of 11 women’s and 4 men’s items will be available for pre-sale at the online flagship store on April 11, and officially released at the Hong Kong store on April 12.
