Fashion Kitchen

by

Art, everyone’s interpretation is different, in fact, food is also a form of art, it is always a source of happiness. Whenever you eat your favorite food when you are hungry, that feeling is enough to make you savor it. Fashion and food may seem unrelated, but because there are many imaginative designers in the fashion world, fashion and food have a subtle relationship. These two art creations both have visual impact, so what will it look like when food becomes a fashion feast?

This fashion feature brings together fashion blogger and model Ingrid Louise Wong and jewelry designer Boo Chong for a feast of vibrant and bold colors, enjoying fashion on the tip of the tongue.

Ingrid Louise Wong: “I feel like I’m currently in the stage of red wine fermentation.”

Ingrid Louise Wong, who is both a fashion blogger and a model (@ingridlwong), shuttles between major fashion events and brand launches every day, collaborating with different photographers and clients, experiencing glamorous clothing. Ingrid, who studied fashion design in college, dreams of opening a trendy fashion store. “I really like Fashion. Over the past few years, my career as a model has allowed me to come into contact with different fashion brands, inspiring me to discover some niche brands from all over Europe and bring them to Hong Kong. Although I am currently in the negotiation stage, I hope to open a fashion store next year and share with everyone the fashion items that I think are good.”

Ingrid describes herself as a red wine that is currently fermenting. “The grape skins produce aroma during fermentation in the wine barrel, just like how I am in my prime now, ready to do whatever I want. It is often this drive that makes me shine. And the longer red wine is aged, the richer its flavor becomes. I hope that decades later, I will also be a red wine that is praised and appreciated.”

Boo Chong: “After becoming a mother, my ability to accept new things has also improved.”

Boo Chong, who looks completely slim, is already the mother of two children. “After becoming a mother, I found that my love has multiplied hundreds of times more than before. They make me understand how to love the people around me more.” Boo even describes herself as a sticky rice cake because she feels that the appearance of sticky rice cake is tough, just like her, able to face different external pressures and protect her children.

Although Boo has to take care of two children, she will not give up on the things she loves. Boo has always been fond of vintage and fantasy elements, even the jewelry she designs follows this style with gold as the main theme. “I am passionate about vintage and nostalgic elements, so I like to watch movies from the thirties and forties for inspiration. I also like to use pearls as the main material for my jewelry because it gives a sense of elegance and nobility, and I hope that the person wearing it will feel happy and noble as a result.” Boo also personally designs exclusive jewelry for a group of brides-to-be, sending them endless blessings. I wonder, when Boo’s daughter grows up, what kind of jewelry will she design for her wedding?

Because of this culinary feast, Ingrid and Boo’s friendship took a big step forward, and their every move was as intimate as sisters. They wore eye-catching Diane Von Fustenberg and iBLUES outfits respectively, as if expressing their joy for this new friendship.

Beautiful food not only provides a sensory impact but also brings visual shock, allowing people to feel happy at all times. Coupled with exaggerated patterns and vibrant colors in clothing, it adds joy to this dull world, bringing this gourmet feast to a perfect close.
