This year, Boucheron celebrates the 20th anniversary of its iconic Quatre design. As a result, the brand will be introducing some new creations throughout the year. This year, the Quatre Classique series is playing with its classic design elements more frequently than ever before. The series explores every configuration, whether soft or strong, without deviating from its iconic aesthetic. It all began with a ring in 2004, and the creative studio is launching new pieces to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Quatre Classique ring, celebrating its original charm with exquisite style.
Quatre’s classic design, from an inherently rigid series, has transformed into an elegant “ribbon”. To achieve this concept, Boucheron’s jewelry craftsmen must hand-assemble over a hundred parts and connect them to show respect for the original aesthetic of the 2004 ring. Today, the main design of the Quatre Lierre anniversary special edition is featured in 7 different pieces: including two necklaces, a belt, three bracelets, and a hair accessory. In the anniversary special series, the studio conceived a design of layering rings and bracelets, infinitely magnifying the classic features of Quatre. A necklace is made up of approximately 50 Quatre rings, each ring individually crafted and assembled using the series’ unique craftsmanship. Boucheron also developed a scroll-shaped Quatre bracelet that can hold 12 items, 2 bracelets, and 10 chains, all conveying the characteristics of the series. All components are completely hand-set, without the use of glue, giving wearers complete freedom and variability in choosing their style.
