Buccellati’s Italian craftsmanship sends blessings for Valentine’s Day.

by

Valentine’s Day is approaching, and Buccellati has launched a new Opera Heart necklace to convey love between lovers. The design of the new necklace is inspired by the Renaissance-inspired Opera series, which repeatedly uses symmetrical floral patterns as the main design. The Opera Heart necklace retains Buccellati’s classic style, using the brand’s highly recognizable Tulle “lace” craftsmanship to cast a radiating lace pattern, interpreting its consistent Italian aesthetics.

In addition to the new Opera Heart necklace, Buccellati also launched the Hawaii collection for this festive season. This collection was born in 1932 and is one of the classic designs by the brand’s founder, Mario Buccellati. Inspired by Hawaiian flower garlands, the pieces are crafted using the twisted gold technique, creating interwoven gold circles that shimmer and dance with light.

The craftsman twists two thin gold threads to create a looped gold ring, with each thin gold circle having a diameter of 0.6 millimeters. Then, through manual welding, the delicate gold circles are layered and intertwined, creating a rich and dynamic piece of work. Paired with the Opera Heart necklace specially launched for Valentine’s Day, the genuine love between lovers is fully expressed.
