FRED brought its retrospective exhibition “FRED, Master of Jewelry Creation since 1936” to Asia after its first exhibition in Paris last year. The first stop was at ALT.1 Gallery in Seoul, South Korea’s Hyundai Department Store. Many celebrities, including the long-absent Lee Young-ae, attended the opening dinner, with Lee Young-ae wearing a black evening gown to complement the brand’s diamond jewelry.
FRED Seoul Station Retrospective Exhibition will be held from now until December 25th, showcasing the brand’s collection, including over 300 pieces of jewelry and objects, more than 200 never-before-seen collectible jewelry pieces, as well as works borrowed from private collectors and close friends of the brand.
The nine themed exhibition halls reflect the personality of the brand’s founder, Fred Samuel, and the style of the brand, using “light” as a common theme, meaning to lead the audience into the brand’s glorious past.
