Renowned jewelry artist Cindy Chao founded CINDY CHAO The Art Jewel in 2004, known internationally for its unique combination of “architectural, sculptural, and vibrant” jewelry creations, deeply loved by collectors of fine jewelry. The annual butterfly is one of the brand’s most iconic pieces, symbolizing Cindy Chao’s constant transformation as an artist, as well as the brand’s continuous challenge and refinement in craftsmanship and creativity. Recently, this year’s butterfly made its first official debut and took the lead in the 2023 Annual Butterfly Masterpiece Exhibition held in Shanghai.
2023 Master Series Annual Butterfly “Graceful Butterfly” is the brand’s tenth butterfly creation, created by Cindy Chao over 5 years. It is a special creation for a couple of collectors who have known each other for 20 years. It is born out of love and embodies the deep friendship between the artist and the collectors, as well as the love and heritage of two generations of the collector’s family.
At the opening ceremony of the art exhibition, Zhang Ziyi made an appearance to show her support. She wore an elegant black outfit to complement the jewelry pieces by CINDY CHAO The Art Jewel. Additionally, Feng Delun also attended the exhibition, wearing a black ensemble and showcasing the brand’s jewelry pieces. They strolled through the immersive exhibition hall, experiencing the harmonious coexistence of light, shadow, and art.
