Cartier and sacai founder Chitose Abe’s first collaborative jewelry collection, “Trinity For Chitose Abe of Sacai,” has been highly anticipated since its first unveiling last year. The collection has also invited Utada Hikaru to appear in promotional photos, adding to its buzz. Recently, the collection has finally landed in Hong Kong and is exclusively available at Cartier’s Lee Gardens Three and K11 MUSEA boutiques.
Both parties took inspiration from the minimalist and dynamic style of Trinity rings to create six combination pieces, including two rings, as well as a bracelet, necklace, earrings, and a versatile piece that combines earrings and a ring; all made with white gold, gold, and rose gold.
The Cartier Trinity for Chitose Abe of sacai earrings/rings are composed of one circular ring and two oval rings, which can be worn as earrings or as a three-ring ring. The three interconnected rings are designed with an open structure, allowing them to be placed on both the inside and outside of the ear, depending on the wearing position. When worn as a ring, they can be stacked on top of the middle finger or adorned on both the ring finger and pinky finger, showcasing the series’ subtle and ever-changing characteristics.
