The powerful, rebellious, and free-spirited panther, born in 1914, has always been a symbol of Cartier. As one of the brand’s most classic jewelry collections, Panthère de Cartier has continuously innovated over the years, showcasing its power and versatile nature. Recently, brand ambassador Jisoo brought a dazzling interpretation, where her elegant temperament collided with the wildness of the panther, creating a unique chemical reaction and perfectly showcasing a design that transcends time.
The Panthère de Cartier collection presents a series of bold yet soft and flexible new designs this year, with necklaces, bracelets, and ring styles featuring invisible settings that move freely and fit the body’s curves. The two vivid three-dimensional panther heads on the jewelry face each other at the ends of the curved body, complementing each other and showcasing their charming allure and unique temperament. Its pure lines and minimalist design interpret the aesthetics of simple jewelry: white gold diamond-set styles are inlaid with striped agate panther patterns and emerald panther eyes, while yellow gold styles are embellished with black lacquer octagonal panther patterns and chrysoprase panther eyes.
Another series of Panthère de Cartier, named Pompom, evolves the jaguar into eight new pieces through abstract style, incorporating the brand’s beloved pearl pendant design into rings, necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. Crafted in white and yellow gold, the pendants are meticulously set with round brilliant-cut diamonds on the white gold and yellow gold versions, complemented by triangular striped agate or black lacquer to create geometric patterns. Each pendant hangs a cluster of matching pearl pendants, continuing the dynamic and graceful style of the Panthère series.
Cartier also brings four diamond jewelry watches to the Panthère de Cartier jewelry watch series this year, including two white gold diamond models and gold and rose gold diamond styles. The highlight of the watch is the new watch opening and closing system, with the watch decorated with connecting rods, firmly held in the mouth by two American leopards, and two buttons hidden behind the leopard ears. Simply press the buttons to release the leopard’s mouth. The sharp leopard eyes interpreted by pear-shaped emeralds or sapphires stare at each other, demonstrating an excellent balance of aesthetics. The watch chain is designed with the brand’s classic element “square studs,” and the unique angular structure is stylish.
The elements of the American leopard are also extended to the design of handbags. The Panthère de Cartier series handbags are created by leather craftsmen and top jewelry carvers, with a fashionable rounded silhouette paired with a leopard head-shaped buckle, gold-plated or palladium-plated buckle and chain made of faceted metal material, paired with leather decorations, further highlighting elegance and modernity. Available in small and mini sizes, the colors are vibrant and eye-catching, with options including understated black, navy blue, gray-yellow, red, petrol blue, milk white, and light yellow. The new Panthère de Cartier series has splendidly debuted exclusively at the Lee Gardens Phase Three boutique for the first time.
