Women love jewelry, and so do men. Who says wearing jewelry is only a woman’s privilege? Men have been wearing jewelry even earlier than women, and jewelry is a symbol of men’s power and status. At the recent Dior Men’s 2023 Spring/Summer fashion show, Kim Jones once again collaborated with Victoire de Castellane to design high-end jewelry, introducing a men’s brooch.
The inspiration for the brooch comes from Christian Dior’s classic Junon dress from the 1949-1950 autumn/winter collection, where the draped skirt and swirling patterns are transformed into precious petals, set with colorful diamonds and sapphires, interpreting the enchanting gradient colors from sky blue to midnight blue, paying tribute to nature and the exquisite craftsmanship of Dior’s high jewelry workshop.
