Founded by the famous designer Alan Chan and Dr. Shih Niande, the second-generation head of K.S.SZE & SONS, the local luxury jewelry brand ZNS Jewellery is committed to promoting cross-border cooperation to drive different artistic cultures and fashion developments. Recently, the brand introduced the Japanese high-end jewelry brand LATREIA to Hong Kong for the first time.
The brand was founded by Japanese designer Mana Matsuzaki. Mana’s grandfather was a master craftsman in gold art, and her parents are also jewelry designers. She has been exposed to art and jewelry since childhood, drawing inspiration from the universe and life, similar to the concept of ZNS. When designing her pieces, Mana often visits various historical museums, where bones, fangs, claws, and horns on display become a source of inspiration for her. Mana believes that all of this allows her to experience the existence of life.
Mana realizes that when creating jewelry, there is no need to pursue neat and symmetrical works. Instead, injecting the traditional Japanese aesthetic of “wabi-sabi” into the work, without losing any aesthetic balance, it is brief and imperfect, feeling like a shamanistic warrior style, possessing both heroic charm and bringing inner peace.
