Louis Vuitton’s fashion and leather goods have always been loved by fashion enthusiasts; and the brand’s high jewelry can always make people feel the amazing creativity in it. Recently, the fourth high jewelry series Spirit designed by Louis Vuitton’s watch and jewelry artistic director Francesca Amfitheatrof has officially debuted, making it the largest high jewelry series in LV’s history, including 125 bold and innovative pieces.
The entire high jewelry collection revolves around five main themes, including: “Destiny,” “Fantasy,” “Grace,” “Liberty,” and “Radiance,” all based on necklaces, paired with earrings, bracelets, and rings with the same theme. Each theme incorporates elements symbolizing liberation, with mythical creatures representing feminine qualities and strength such as phoenixes and fire dragons intertwined, creating meaningful high jewelry pieces.
For example, the flagship piece in “Liberty” is a necklace in the shape of armor, interpreting the strong female power, symbolizing the indomitable femininity. Through the combination of square and triangular cut diamonds, the simple and generous Damier pattern is created, incorporating the iconic monogram of the brand’s travel trunk. As for the “Destiny” theme, Francesca Amfitheatrof uses the symbol of Louis Vuitton’s “V” and the patented “Flower Cut”, where the “V” represents an arrow, symbolizing moving forward courageously.
The “Fantasy” theme uses gold, platinum, and diamonds as the main materials, bringing a unique double-layer necklace with a “Flower Cut” diamond in the center as an accent, showcasing bold and avant-garde creativity.
The necklace in “Grace” unfolds on the neck like the wings of a phoenix, balancing strength and elegance; the overall design of the necklace presents a double-layered V-shaped structure, with one layer formed by rectangular cut diamonds, and the other layer crafted from a curved white gold setting of round diamonds.
The elaborate necklace design in “Radiance” resembles armor, with each part of the necklace independently designed to cleverly fit the skin. The pyramid structure further enhances the dazzling shine of each piece of mirror-polished gold jewelry, adorned with diamonds, making it even more radiant.
