Robert Wun, who gained international recognition with his Crystal Rain Coat, reinterprets one form of water for Jiang Tao – rain. Using Swarovski crystals, he interprets the flowing shape of rainwater on the body, enhancing the poignant performance of Jiang Tao’s rendition of “Loneliness Disease” and the classic song “Chase” by Leslie Cheung.
Born in Hong Kong and based in London, fashion designer Robert Wun is considered a rising star in the world of Parisian haute couture. After winning the Andam Fashion Awards last year, he received support from Chanel President Bruno Pavlovsky and made his debut at Paris Fashion Week this year. With the theme “Fear,” Wun transformed everyday “accidents” such as spilling red wine, getting caught in the rain, and losing a shoe into exquisite and refined looks, garnering immense praise from the fashion industry.
