In and out of the movie, she transforms into a real-life Barbie! Margot Robbie perfectly recreates multiple iconic Barbie looks.

Barbie Barbie dolls are a childhood memory for many girls. Since the announcement in April that Barbie will be made into a live-action film, with Margot Robbie playing the lead role of Barbie, many fans have been eagerly anticipating it. The film will be released this month, and from the previously released trailers, it can be seen that both the character designs and set productions are done with great attention to detail. Recently, Margot Robbie has been tirelessly promoting the film. Not only does she take her on-screen looks seriously, but she also puts a lot of effort into her outfits for every public appearance. In addition to wearing multiple pink outfits that align with the theme, she has also flawlessly recreated several iconic Barbie looks.

Valentino Polka Dot Mini Skirt

Margot Robbie wore a custom-made Valentino necklace mini dress in Barbie pink with white polka dots and a cut-out design at the waist, paired with white high heels from Manolo Blahnik. She also carried a yellow handbag, creating a bright and modern sexy look. This outfit is reminiscent of Valentino’s Spring/Summer 1993 collection, which was previously worn by supermodel Karen Mulder.

Herve Leger custom black and white striped swimsuit

Margot Robbie continues her promotional tour for “Barbie” in Australia, appearing in a specially tailored black and white striped swimsuit by Herve Leger. This outfit pays homage to the first swimsuit Barbie, which was created in 1959.

Bottega Veneta custom pink look

On another day of activities in Los Angeles, she wore a custom-made pink outfit by Bottega Veneta, consisting of a cropped bustier and a pleated mini skirt. She carried a perfectly coordinated Cabat Bag and accessorized with white cat-eye sunglasses and pink Manolo Blahnik high heels. She drove a pink convertible, exuding a playful and lively vibe!

Recreate Versace’s Fall/Winter 1994 Collection

Margot Robbie attended the “Barbie” celebration party in Sydney and changed into two different outfits. One is a sparkly design with a halter mini skirt, a tight-fitting cropped top paired with a mini skirt, accessorized with Manolo Blahnik transparent high-heeled sandals and simple jewelry. With slightly wavy hair, she transformed into a sexy and charming real-life Barbie doll! The other outfit consists of a pink turtleneck sweater paired with a metallic pleated skirt, and white high-heeled loafers also from Manolo Blahnik, paired with purple ankle socks. Both of these looks are from Versace’s 1994 autumn/winter collection, showcasing the consistent sweet Barbie style and perfectly recreating the classics of that era.

Echoing 1985 “Day to Night” Barbie

Recently, when Margot Robbie came to Korea for promotion, she also chose to wear clothes specially tailored for her by Versace. The two looks of the pink suit and the sparkling tulle skirt are extremely thoughtful in the details, perfectly echoing the Barbie doll called “Day to Night” launched in 1985.

Moschino 2015 Spring/Summer Collection

Margot Robbie wore a dress from Moschino’s 2015 spring/summer collection on this day, with a heart-shaped handbag and butterfly hair accessories. She still exudes a sweet and cute style, paying homage to the classic Barbie style, specifically the pink Barbie from 1964. Throughout her promotional tour, Margot Robbie’s various looks, from outfits to makeup to details, seem to have opened up Barbie’s wardrobe for everyone. I believe this Barbie craze will continue to burn!
