Only Gaga can surpass Gaga! Changing into 9 different anti-virus mask looks in one go to dominate the VMAs stage!

The 2020 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) came to a perfect close yesterday. As one of the few large-scale awards ceremonies after the easing of the epidemic, it naturally attracted the attention of the whole city! I believe that many music fans were sitting in front of their computer screens yesterday, closely following the latest news about the ceremony. And it must be said that this VMAs awards ceremony was basically Lady Gaga’s show, with everyone’s focus on Gaga from the red carpet to the after party!

Why say that? All because Lady Gaga practically dominated the awards ceremony, overshadowing other attending celebrities! She and Ariana Grande delivered an electrifying performance of “Rain On Me” at the ceremony, and she took home a total of 5 major awards, becoming the big winner of the night! However, the main reason Gaga flooded social media was because she went crazy that night by changing into a total of 9 avant-garde and extravagant looks, shocking everyone’s eyes and also earning praise: “Only Gaga can surpass Gaga”!

Lady Gaga made a futuristic entrance to the venue in a silver metallic jumpsuit from the Area 2020 fall/winter collection, paired with her favorite ultra high-platform black boots, exuding a commanding presence! The glass headpiece is definitely the highlight, completing the entire “future warrior” sci-fi look, while also serving a protective function.

When awarded the “Best Collaboration” award, Lady Gaga switched to a custom-made dress by Iris Van Herpen. The colorful fringes on the skirt, combined with the brand’s expertise in 3D-printing techniques, looked like a colorful sea anemone, full of three-dimensional beauty, and she controlled it perfectly. Continuing the concept of “social distancing” in fashion, Gaga paired a colorful outfit with a pink latex gas mask by Cecilio Castrillo, which was also an eye-catching highlight.

Lady Gaga then wore Valentino’s latest season haute couture on stage to receive the “Artist of the Year” award, with layers of feathered skirts exuding a sense of grandeur. The silver sequined bodysuit complemented the skirt, creating a magnificent effect of a “giant angel” descending to earth. Finished off with white platform high-heeled boots, Gaga exuded her own queenly aura. She also paired it with Maison Met’s silver sequined mask, echoing the design of the bodysuit, and coincidentally matching her silver hair perfectly.

Lady Gaga continues to shine in her silver outfit as she receives the first “MTV Tricon Award” at the VMAs. The train coat she is wearing is designed by young American designer Candice Cuoco, with its shiny silver material creating a liquid-like visual effect. The wrinkled sleeves are also a key detail of the coat, enhancing Gaga’s superstar aura.

During the presentation of the “Song of the Year” award, Lady Gaga transformed into a glamorous and elegant image in a dazzling green voluminous gown by Christopher John Rogers from the Fall/Winter 2020 collection. The cinched waist accentuated her figure, and Gaga, of course, did not interpret this dress in a mundane way. She paired it with a bold statement necklace and wore Lance Victor Moore’s fang mask on her face, adding her unique wild touch to the overall look, showcasing a blend of elegance and fierceness.

As for the performance part of the clothing, it is also amazing. Lady Gaga first appeared in a mint green latex suit from Vex Clothing, but this sexy outfit was not as eye-catching as the “digital mask” from Michael Ngo on her face, which combines fashion and technology, showing her avant-garde and innovative fashion style.

When performing with Ariana Grande, the two of them coordinated in a flashy purple color as the main visual tone. Gaga wore a custom Dead Fetish bra top, hot pants, and garter belt, with a sexy index off the charts. Additionally, she paired it with gloves from Vex Clothing and a digital mask from Smooth Technology, giving off a futuristic vibe!

The final performance outfit is a custom pink jumpsuit by BCALLA paired with Saint Laurent leather boots. The jumpsuit is made up of different shades of red color blocks, with sequins and beads scattered on top, emitting a subtle glow, and drawing a perfect conclusion to this evening’s spectacular performance.
