The new Aesop Hollywood Road store is located in the heart of Hong Kong, and was designed by the brand’s in-house architecture team. It carefully blends the pulse of the metropolis with the tranquility of nature, weaving together different materials, lighting, and textures to create a harmonious atmosphere. The space continues the brand’s consistent craftsmanship style, drawing inspiration from the architectural materials that can be found throughout Hong Kong. As a result, white tiles and bold use of brass can be found in every corner of the store!
The key design feature of the overall space is the use of specially customized white tiles, which seem to connect the store with the city and also symbolize adaptability in humid climates. These tiles have a durable surface and contrasting patterns, carefully embodying the geometric design concept of the space.
In detail, the suspended and intricate brass structure echoes these tiles, cleverly paying homage to the local bamboo shed. The design team uses brass nails in a direct manner to secure the metal framework, evoking the interwoven bamboo shed that is commonly seen in everyday architecture, showcasing its immense strength and resilience, allowing the architectural structure itself to be highlighted.

This time, the store has two facial treatment spaces, offering two different experiences: 60 minutes and 75 minutes.
