In recent years, the beauty industry has seen a surge in the Clean beauty trend, advocating for skincare products that are safe, non-damaging, and environmentally friendly. The green beauty brand Purearth has recently opened at Lane Crawford in Times Square, Causeway Bay, bringing sustainable natural skincare products and personalized professional skin analysis services.
Purearth was founded by Kavita Khosa in 2011, with a focus on skincare products made from pure ingredients from the Himalayas combined with natural handmade manufacturing. The products do not contain any chemical ingredients or formulas. The brand also adheres to cruelty-free practices, as well as using sustainable harvesting methods and supporting fair trade.
In addition to using natural materials, Purearth’s products also contain the wisdom of ancient Himalayan Ayurvedic therapy, such as the Kwanshan Gua Sha beauty tool, which is a facial massage tool made of the Ayurvedic “Kansa” metal alloy, combining ancient Indian herbal therapy and traditional Chinese medicine methods to promote blood circulation and remove skin toxins.
As for the Mitti wild honey mask, it contains organic honey, antioxidant cocoa, as well as a blend of Damask rose, frankincense, ylang-ylang, sweet orange, myrrh, and apricot oil essential oils, which can improve skin inflammation and balance oil production.
In addition to skincare products, Purearth also offers a series of herbal teas, using holy basil leaves to provide soothing and calming effects, promoting overall health and well-being.
It is also worth mentioning that a series of Purearth products are packaged in a plastic-free manner, using hand-blown glass bottles and soy ink printed packaging boxes to reduce the burden on the earth’s resources. Purearth also offers a bottle recycling service, planting a tree whenever a customer returns an empty bottle, creating a green life and making the environment and skin better together.
