Hermès has been launching the Rouge Hermès lipstick series since 2020, with 3 limited edition shades released every six months. Following the colorful striped lipstick released in February this year, three new limited edition shades for autumn and winter have recently been revealed. Unlike the bright tones of the previous spring and summer collection, this time the lipstick cases feature mysterious and colorful dark shades, making them a bold choice for touch-ups!
Designed by Pierre Hardy, the makeup product designer for Hermès, the inspiration for these three lipstick tubes comes from a colorful dark tone. They use a strong visual contrast between bright brilliance and elegant black to perfectly capture the vivid dark tones. The first layer of color is like a ray of bright sunlight gently sliding into the blue-green world. The second layer is a purple crystal shining with a sparkling orange. The third layer of color gradually changes its luster to a bold purple, complementing the emerald green. The boundaries between the colors are hazy like clouds and mist, making it a refreshing sight.

This autumn and winter brings three limited edition new colors: 72 Rouge Bruni brick red, 84 Rouge Abysse Burgundy red, and 90 Prunoir glossy purple. Continuing the lightweight, moisturizing, and highly pigmented characteristics of the Rouge Hermès lipstick series, it creates a long-lasting and moisturizing lip makeup.
Hermès Beauty Creative Director Gregoris Pyrpylis explains the two possible ways to use lipstick: “You can adjust the shade and makeup effect according to your mood, occasion, and intuition.” For a light and transparent makeup effect, it is recommended to apply the lipstick with your fingertips, blending it with your skin for a more subtle and elegant color, creating a natural and soft makeup look! In addition, the design of the lipstick core allows for more precise layering of lip color, creating a vibrant but not heavy lip makeup!
The 2023 Rogue Hermès Autumn/Winter Limited Edition Collection will debut at Hermès worldwide starting from October 1, 2023. Lipstick enthusiasts must get their hands on one!
