Last month, Hermès unveiled its latest Plein Air collection, and now they have another surprise for us. The brand just announced that they will be launching the new 2023 Rose Hermès collection on May 15th. This collection includes three new blushes and a new formula for their Rose Hermès lipstick, adding a touch of pink to this spring and summer season. It is sure to create another buying frenzy!
Two years ago, Hermès launched its first Rose Hermès collection, following the success of the Rouge Hermès makeup line. This spring, Hermès introduces new additions to the collection, including three shades of Rose Hermès Silky Blush and a glossy formula for the enchanting lipstick, making the Rose Hermès collection even more complete. Now, the entire Rose Hermès collection consists of 11 blush shades, two makeup brushes, and four delicate lip colors, suitable for all skin tones. With the ability to switch shades according to your mood, create different styles of spring makeup.
The Rose Hermès blush, carefully crafted by Pierre Hardy, the packaging designer of the Hermès cosmetics department, is housed in an elegant white lacquered compact powder case, adorned with the Hermès emblem. The surface of the blush presents the diagonal texture of Hermès silk scarves, smooth and creamy like butter, with the addition of delicate pearl powder. It is formulated with antioxidant skincare ingredients, moisturizers, and mineral powders, ensuring a perfect fit on the skin that seamlessly blends with light, revealing a natural radiant complexion.
Continuing the Plein Air series, the Rose Hermès blush also emits the scent of carnation, sandalwood, and green tea specially created by Christine Nagel, the exclusive perfumer of Hermès, enhancing freshness and vitality. The blush includes 3 shades, from delicate beige to bright pink, allowing for easy creation of a light and radiant natural makeup look and exquisite makeup.
For those who prefer a fresh and transparent makeup look, you can choose the slightly beige 47 Rose Ambré amber pink color to create a natural pink vibe. If you want to showcase a noble temperament, a touch of 35 Rose Doré rose gold color can brighten and whiten your complexion while giving off a healthy glow. The eye-catching 58 Rose Cuivré copper-colored pink adds a warm and sunny feeling to the makeup, bringing a natural and glossy contouring effect.

The exquisite lipstick designed by Pierre Hardy, Creative Director of Hermès Jewelry, is inspired by the colors of Hermès’ 75,000 silk scarves. The lacquered ring echoes the gradient hues of grapes, and together with the newly launched 27 Rose Confetti petal pink lip color, it brings a touch of freshness to the Rose Hermès collection.
The texture of the lipstick is delicate and smooth, inspired by Hermès Milo lambskin. It contains moisturizing ingredients and is infused with the same white mulberry extract essence as the Rouge Hermès lipstick collection. It instantly moisturizes the lips and smoothes lip lines, bringing a soft and full pink gloss. With the fragrance of calendula, sandalwood, and candied angelica, the lip makeup is fresh, lightweight, and comfortable, with no burden at all.
It is worth mentioning that, in line with the brand’s sustainable principles, the blush compact is infused with ecological design and molded using plant fibers. The blush comes with refillable packaging, and the lipstick can also have its core replaced, combining aesthetics with environmental friendliness, achieving a green aesthetic!
The 2023 Rose Hermès collection will debut worldwide at Hermès starting from May 15, 2023. Hermès enthusiasts must get their hands on it!
