Jisoo was the first to post, only sharing a group photo from the end of the concert and some silhouettes from the performance. I have to say, the costumes and hair and makeup styles of BLACKPINK in the Born Pink World Tour are much simpler than their MV styles, still cute, sexy, and glamorous. However, in order to accommodate the makeup changes, whether it’s accessories, nails, or hair, they are relatively easy to mix and match. The makeup artist iammaeng, who works closely with BLACKPINK, designed a makeup look that focuses on eyeliner and lips for all members.
As the visual representative of BLACKPINK, Jisoo’s makeup focuses only on the outer corner eyeliner and lashes. The elongated black eyeliner paired with noticeably curled eyelashes, along with a berry-toned pink lip color, creates a natural makeup look that complements Jisoo’s elegant princess image. Rosé’s makeup design is almost identical to Jisoo’s, with the same cat-eye eyeliner and clearly defined lashes, even the lip color is similar to Jisoo’s. However, upon closer inspection, Rosé’s lip makeup uses a gradient petal lip treatment, making her complexion appear fairer and adding a personal touch. Lisa, who has a more playful and cute image than Jisoo and Rosé, has less intense eye makeup, opting for a Barbie pink lip color that not everyone can easily pull off, perfectly matching Lisa’s “human Barbie” image.
Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa’s makeup looks are almost processed in a reverse pattern, with only Jennie receiving “special treatment.” Makeup artist iammaeng specially designed a rhinestone makeup look for Jennie’s solo segment, adding single rhinestones to the ends and inner corners of her eyes, as well as placing star-shaped rhinestone stickers and glitter on Jennie’s nose bridge during the group performance. This extra touch made Jennie shine even more brightly under the stage lights, giving off a strong stage presence.
