After nearly half a year of waiting, Lucia’s first makeup series for Byredo, Liquid Lipstick, has finally been officially launched!
Lucia, who excels in multiple color combinations, did not choose eye makeup products with greater room for color creativity as her debut at Byredo. Instead, she confidently brought a set of lip glosses that emphasize a glassy makeup look, seemingly wanting to test the waters and understand the preferences of the brand’s fans.
Although there is not much room for creativity in the creation, after all, as a senior predecessor in the beauty industry who once worked for Chanel Beauty for six years, Lucia also put a lot of effort into this Liquid Lipstick series, bringing innovative ideas in terms of formula, texture, makeup effect, and packaging.
The lip gloss is inspired by the essence of “water” in human nature, even the product is directly named Liquid Lipstick, with the agility of water as the design inspiration deeply touching the brand’s founder and creative director Ben Gorham, believing it can respond to the brand’s original intention of creating perfume. The Byredo Liquid Lipstick series consists of 10 highly pigmented, skin-friendly neutral shades, including a completely transparent shade #301.
After careful selection of colors, the formula is also sincere. The Liquid Lipstick adopts a vegan formula with added shea butter and vitamin E, which not only brings long-lasting moisture to the lips but also a natural glassy finish. The product’s packaging design is impeccable, embodying the artistic sense of the brand’s makeup. The lower part of the slim lip gloss features a transparent design, while the upper body is presented in silver-gray, with a three-dimensional decoration resembling a melting iceberg in the middle.
