As the most expensive MV in YG history, BLACKPINK’s new work “Pink Venom” is definitely worth everyone’s repeated appreciation. From the release of the MV until now, I believe you have seen many analyses of Pink Venom’s clothing and makeup. Have you seen the details of the goddess’s nail art this time?
BLACKPINK’s visual representative Jisoo recently shared the Pink Venom nail design on IG that nail art enthusiasts are paying attention to, and the team once again invited the long-term collaborator, the Korean star nail salon unistella, to work on it, and unistella has also been revealing the nail designs of the 4 members on IG.
In the MV this time, Jisoo transformed into an “evil core” and made her entrance in a queenly outfit that combines traditional Korean elements. Unistella nail artist designed two sets of black-based nails with cloud and floral patterns made of mother-of-pearl, applying traditional art to the nails. In addition, there are two sets with fluorescent swirls, cracks, and ink splatter patterns, fitting perfectly with the current Y2K trend. Of course, there are also nails that perfectly match the Pink Venom theme, featuring shiny pink with long, flowing mercury-like tips, making them truly unique.
Aside from Jisoo, Unistella also designed a variety of perfectly matching nail art styles for Lisa and Jennie. In the iconic scene where Lisa wears a Celine fisherman’s hat and Jennie raps together, Lisa sports long fluorescent pink nails with a Western style, while Jennie appears in a red leopard lace mask look from the Alaia 2022 Fall/Winter collection. Unistella created a set of false nails with the same red leopard lace theme to extend the focus of the outfit to the nail art. After seeing Jisoo, Lisa, and Jennie’s nail designs in the “Pink Venom” MV, did it bring you the latest nail art inspiration?
