If you support Hong Kong brands, you should be familiar with local scientific beauty brand FACTIV and local perfume brand One Day, both of which have rapidly gained a large following on IG in recent years. FACTIV focuses on scientific skincare formulas, while the latter excels in conveying stories through fragrance. Despite seeming to be in different fields, these two units have recently surprised everyone by joining forces to bring an exhibition themed around the past and future, related to fragrance!
Last December, two brands held the opening of the Last & Lost exhibition at PMQ, and now continue the exhibition at K11 Art Mall, focusing on the future, scent, and memories. Through unique artistic methods, they evoke feelings of memories passing and staying, searching and disappearing. The exhibition tells three stories that take place in 2052, along with the previously exhibited Chapter 1 “27MB” at PMQ, now presenting Chapter 2 “38.7°C” and Chapter 3 “⅘ + 1”, telling stories with scientific elements and unique scents.
FACTIV and ONE DAY have specially launched 3 fragrant hand creams for this project, formulated by ONE DAY perfumers with fragrances that are layered yet cohesive. FACTIV then incorporates these fragrances into their own developed hand cream formula. The 3 fragrant hand creams are named after the 3 chapters of the exhibition, adding an artistic and storytelling atmosphere to the hand cream.
