This year marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of CHANEL N°5 perfume. In addition to the tribute to this classic fragrance, the brand has launched the N°5 high-end and fine jewelry series. Recently, to celebrate the centenary of the birth of this iconic scent, CHANEL has released the limited edition CHANEL Factory 5 collection. The Factory 5 limited edition perfume factory, which has appeared in cities around the world, will also be coming to Hong Kong, allowing everyone to personally explore the charm of N°5.
The CHANEL Factory 5 series brings a total of 17 products, including body lotion, moisturizing oil, shower gel, bath bomb, fragrance essential oil, etc., continuing the classic scent of N°5. Just like in the recent advertisement, the CHANEL N°5 perfume placed on the conveyor belt has been transformed into the all-new Factory 5 series. Unlike the brand’s usual elegant and luxurious packaging style, the Factory 5 series, conceptualized as everyday items, adopts a simple and fashionable design with a predominantly white color scheme, complemented by black lines, creating a modern packaging that is highly anticipated!
The bottle shape also subverts traditional concepts, such as hiding a bath ball in a tea canister, using hand-painted cans and watercolor paint packaging to hold essential oils and body lotions. One of the shower gels is even packaged in a paint bucket, echoing the theme of “perfume factory” and the bold creativity that Gabrielle Chanel dared to break norms back then, while also resonating with the spirit of Pop Art in artifying everyday items.
To let everyone experience the new CHANEL Factory 5 series firsthand, the brand will open the Factory 5 limited-time perfume factory in Central starting on June 29th. Visitors can explore different job positions along with the production process and watch playful production demonstrations. In addition, CHANEL has also created an online exclusive perfume factory for those who are unable to visit, allowing everyone to explore the world of CHANEL Factory 5.
