Whether you are a “cat slave” or not, you can’t miss the latest exhibition “Cats light up my life” by ZTYLEZ ART SPACE and Maysum! For Maysum, who is both a makeup artist and an artist, meeting cats in the troubles of life is the luckiest and most healing encounter. She records the moments of life with her furry companions through art and shares her insights.
The exhibition includes the ART WALL created by Maysum for ZTYLEZ ART SPACE, featuring a cat wandering through the stars in different forms. It symbolizes the many “strange and unusual” people we often encounter on our journey through life, bringing joy, anger, sadness, and various emotions, but ultimately teaching us how to handle ourselves and grow. In addition, the large “Z” installation has also been given a new look, making it a must-visit photo spot!
When you step into the art space, you can appreciate Maysum’s multiple paintings, each piece depicting her daily life with cats in a gentle brushstroke. Cats are aloof, independent, and have their own ways, with a touch of arrogance. But it is this nonchalant personality that doesn’t seek to please others yet silently accompanies, allowing Maysum to experience the purest calmness and love while taking care of her furry companions. It helps her regain the strength to live life when feeling tired, just like a cat who knows how to live in the present moment. Additionally, there is also “The little light of mine” series of ceramic works, showcasing an artistic style that exudes childlike whimsy and dreams. It encourages everyone to bravely pursue their dreams and live their own lives. We sincerely invite everyone to come and appreciate this series of works up close at the exhibition, and experience the healing power within them.

About Maysum
Asia’s first lipstick sculptor and artist, sculptor.
In 2014, it was selected as one of the TOP100 most notable figures and events by the American media “HudsonMOD Mag”.
In 2017, it was nominated as one of the artists in the fifth Asia Young Artists Nomination Exhibition held in China.
In 2021, it won the outstanding artist award at the Tokyo International Art Fair, and began to gain recognition in the international art world.
As a multimedia creator, Maysum serves as the creative director for the multimedia brand wahahafactory.com. His areas of expertise include illustration, sculpture, art direction, and multimedia art creation. His creative talent and achievements have been widely recognized and praised by media outlets around the world, including interviews and high praise from Japanese magazines “Zaoyuan,” “Vogue,” and internationally renowned blogger Style Bubble.
In terms of works, Maysum has published personal collections such as “The Streets of Shek Kip Mei” and “Let Art Bloom – from art to makeup” which covers art and design.
