以知名艺术家麦罗武水墨画作为题的「荷语境云山行-麦罗武水墨艺术」展览于今天起至1月16日在佳士得香港历山大厦艺廊举行，其中逾40幅的画作汇集了麦罗武早年与近期作品。而麦罗武老师更会于1月13日亲临展场，与观众对谈，阐述其艺术历程。
This exhibition showcases his artistic pursuit over the past two decades. From the misty mountains of Huangshan to the graceful postures of lotus flowers, from traditional to abstract, Ma Luowu’s works present a variety of styles and techniques, highlighting his continuous exploration and innovation in art. It is also evident that he has always maintained a passion for art and a spirit of exploration.
In the exhibition, the public will appreciate Ma Luo’s special series with lotus as the theme. He skillfully uses ink and wash to depict the different postures of lotus flowers. These works are not only unique in technique and color, but also reveal the artist’s profound understanding of life, emotions, and nature. Ma Luo’s lotus flowers blend tradition with modernity, forming a unique artistic language. He skillfully uses deep and shallow brushstrokes to express the sense of layers and vitality of lotus flowers. In his works, reality and illusion intertwine, and changes in light and shadow create a fantastical dreamlike atmosphere, making viewers feel as if they are strolling in nature. It is worth mentioning that the proceeds from the artwork in this private sales exhibition will be donated for charitable purposes, spreading love and care to society.
