“In the starry sky, everything is constantly changing, over billions of years.” These two familiar lines from the song “I am Little Cream” are believed to be a nostalgic memory for many people born in the 80s. To commemorate the 40th anniversary of Little Cream’s birth, the Harbour City Art Museum is currently holding the “Takada Akemi – Magical Memory Original Art Exhibition,” taking everyone back to their childhood dreams.
This is illustrator Takada Akemi’s first solo art exhibition in Hong Kong in 31 years. She has used the Hong Kong night scene as the backdrop and the sparkling night sky as a colorful stage for her precious manuscript of Little Cream. The exhibition will be divided into two periods, showcasing 19 original paintings and over 30 prints, with some works available for public sale.
The exhibition will also showcase limited edition cream sculptures and prints with a themed exhibition, as well as release a series of limited edition merchandise for public sale. Don’t miss out, all cream fans!
