by

For those familiar with the independent music scene, they would know that artist Ling Ling Ling (formerly known as 曾慶靈) is the lead vocalist and guitarist for the band TEENAGE RIOT and FALSE ALARM. Surprisingly, besides his passion for music, he also loves fishing and is skilled at using watercolors to paint lifelike fish.

Recently, he has compiled his works into a book called “Hong Kong Fish Paintings”. The book includes nearly 40 original paintings of various fish species commonly found in Hong Kong, such as blackhead, green clothing, stone clam, sand bass, blue veins, stone dog, yellow flower fish, and more. He meticulously recorded the outline, color, and expression of each fish on the paper, allowing everyone to learn more about the stories of Hong Kong’s fish species.

Want to get up close and personal with Ling Ling Ling’s lifelike watercolor fish paintings? He is currently holding a book launch and original painting exhibition at Shek Kip Mei. In addition, the Hong Kong fishing rod brand EMME is showcasing their ART VERSION series of raft fishing rods, allowing all fishing enthusiasts to “dive deep into the sea”.
