The scorching summer makes people particularly eager to escape the hot outdoor sunlight. Recently, Hong Kong Landmark has brought a large-scale art installation called “Fluid Garden” by Tokyo multimedia artist YOSHIROTTEN, bringing the rich summer island atmosphere indoors!
The exhibition of this art installation is curated by The Wharf and BELOWGROUND, in collaboration with the creative studio UNVEIL LIMITED. The installation is divided into two stages, each presented in a different form. During the second stage of the exhibition, a unique retail concept will also be launched simultaneously.
YOSHIROTTEN’s creations are known for their theme of light and the integration of two-dimensional, three-dimensional, and visual imagery to visualize intangible things. This “Fluid Garden” transforms the fountain in the courtyard of the venue into an art installation that combines digital art and spatial perception, allowing the public to step into it and appreciate the new work with a theme of flowing light water scenery garden, bringing a unique immersive experience.

The ground and surface of the “Fluid Garden” installation are made of metallic materials, which create different light and shadow effects with the changes in sunlight and lighting. The design of the installation’s center is inspired by a water pool, and it features a large digital pool with flowing water as its inspiration. The interactive images within the installation slowly change as viewers enter, and the presence of palm trees nearby adds to the summer atmosphere. Visitors can also quietly appreciate the surroundings from the wooden chairs around the pool, immersing themselves in the fantastical colors and experiencing the tranquility of the digital mirage.
In addition, on specific days, there will be a pop-up ice cream truck near the installation. From now until August 14th (excluding August 13th), from 11 am to 2 pm every day, follow @LANDMARKHK and like the installation post on Instagram and Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book) to receive a limited edition “Fluid Garden” popsicle. First come, first served, allowing you to cool down while enjoying the art installation.
