七星夢海「群落生境」

JPS Gallery presents the latest solo exhibition “Habitat of Communities” by Japanese contemporary artist Muu Nanahoshi, showcasing a series of vibrant and dreamy new oil paintings that depict a world beyond time and space.

The artist’s creative inspiration comes from the rural landscapes of her childhood, including houses, trees, rocks, flowers, the moon, and stars. Seven Stars often combines vibrant colors with her iconic elements such as strawberry goldfish, daifuku mochi, the moon, and the ocean to explore the realms of biology, reality, and dreams from her unique perspective. She presents these explorations in her artwork using her distinctive three-dimensional painting technique.

In order to awaken the harmonious relationship between nature and humanity, she uses rich and dazzling colors and a pleasant atmosphere in this exhibition to bring out important messages about protecting nature through two beloved characters, Rinkle and Little M. She values the connections between all forms of life and believes that love and hope can bring harmony to each other. As long as everything coexists, all things will become beautiful. The artist believes that wherever there is life, there is love and hope, and a community habitat can be found. She hopes that through her work, even if it’s just for a moment, a harmonious habitat can be established.

She also reminds us of the interconnected and cyclical relationship between humans and nature. Therefore, it is equally important to care for the human habitat. We need love, hope, dreams, imagination, and aspirations for the future. By injecting these nutrients, we can protect the human habitat and achieve harmonious coexistence between humans and nature. We must learn to cherish ourselves, fill our lives with elements of happiness, and fill every corner of the community habitat.

Seven Star Dream Sea hopes to use this exhibition to immerse the audience in her community habitat. Under Rinkle’s protection, as long as we know how to cherish nature and appreciate everything we have in the past, present, and future, a harmonious world will appear and exist eternally.
