Australian artist Shannon Peel’s solo exhibition debuts in Hong Kong, showcasing graffiti-style new works with a psychedelic aesthetic!

GOBLIN FANFARE by Shannon Peel

WOAW Gallery recently presented Australian artist Shannon Peel’s solo exhibition “GOBLIN FANFARE,” a series of graffiti-style works filled with rich visual elements, injecting a casual and cheerful atmosphere into the gallery space!

Shannon Peel relies on subconscious and spontaneous natural expression to create works that exhibit a recurring sense of flow, themes, spatial layout, and colors, becoming her signature artistic language. The artist selects soft and vintage tones beyond the traditional color palette, bringing a visual freshness to the works. Despite using the thinnest paints to build layered textures, she creates a broken and irregular texture through scraping and smearing actions, exuding a street-style casual feel.

Through strong and light lines, combined with vibrant colors for a powerful visual impact, this series of works is seen as a mix of “psychedelic optimism” and “happy surprises.” Feel free to visit the exhibition and experience the artist’s vibrant creations!
