The characters of the British children’s picture book “Mr. Men Little Miss” are believed to be familiar to everyone. This classic that has accompanied many people’s growth celebrates its 50th anniversary this year and will soon hold the first celebration event in Asia at Times Square in Causeway Bay, bringing the exhibits from the London Mini Museum to Hong Kong!
The Mr. Men Little Miss 50th Anniversary Celebration will take place from August 5 to September 2 at the Times Square 2nd floor atrium and 5th floor Pop Lab in Causeway Bay. One of the highlights of the event is the “Global Artist Collaboration” exhibition, featuring 50 pieces of Mr. Men Little Miss artwork from 25 artists around the world, displayed in two phases.
In addition to selecting multiple exhibits from the Mini Museum in London to be airfreighted to Hong Kong for display, a collection of classic published picture books and several precious manuscripts by Mr. Adam Hargreaves has been gathered, including the special Mr. Men Little Miss manuscript designed specifically for this Times Square exhibition.
The 50th anniversary exhibition also features the “Discover You Academy”, where many Mr. Men Little Miss characters will come to life from the picture books into the real world, inspiring everyone’s interest in learning through story lectures, theater performances, and other interactive programs! In addition, two brand new characters specially designed for the 50th anniversary, “Mr. Calm” and “Little Miss Brave”, will also make their first appearance at Times Square.
